Exterior Tuning » all work on exteror was started a year and a half ago when i bought this plane black and white mini for £1595, as soon as i seen it was a checkmate the idea was there! my first job was on the grill i had seen this done by another person in "mini world" also a checkmate but he had the slightly more corwded grill, it took 3 of us to do this project, after removing grill and rubbing down with wet n dry, priming it with a metal primer hmmm about 2 cans i think then begun measuring the squares on the grill and begun a 7 hour masking job! then came black then white then laquer. also sprayed wiper blades, wing mirros and rear view mirror give it more of a black and white effect from the front on view - paint and tools also a funny lookin ariel for humour. soon bought clear indicators for front side and rear easy job and very effective (£26)cheqered roof was a bit more difficult than what was imagined these decals if you havnt used them b4 are sent in 2 legnth strips then you have to apply a kind of slippery liquid easly done by using washing up liquid and then place the decals on manover and sqeege out (£28)to rattle from sub i had to remove number plate and have sticker plate made up to reduce the rattle on the exterior (£10) had some very small cheqered circles made up to add to wheels (£6). sunscreen was another easy addtion to my car very easy and cheap used the checkmate wording to suit the cars make if any of you like the font think it was called "robs". but as u can see my mini looks pretty effective some people love it some laugh but most like its originality and i havnt spent alot of money yet    Interior Tuning » the future for my car once my windows have been tinted (75% road legal) and all the interior is safe from "mr thief" then i will do alot of work on the interor going to chrome all the dash and trimmings going to order a centre console and chrome that myself doors and minor things around the car. on the back parcel shelf i have bought 2 4" subwoofer cones to allow the bass up through my sub in the boot as having a parcel shelf on the only breeds "rattle and vibrations" also going to sound proof the whole ineror of my car my stipping the interor down and then chroming the floor with some chrome effect sheeting. but this project is all unfinsihed its looking shabby at the moment inside. i have sprayed most of the interor myself like door handles winder gear knob all in glacier white and all laqered.    Security Tuning » 10" vibe subwoofer with built in amp 2 200watt 6x9`s under rear seats 2 150watt speakers for te front door built into mg door pods.    Chip Tuning » 998cc engine awaiting spray job on impretza bonnet till i put k&n air filter in due to air flow. centre exit 6" exhaust    Transmission Tuning » standard    Suspension Tuning » standard    Brake Tuning » standard    Wheel Tuning » mini lights standard    Tyre Tuning » some cheap ones for the mo
